What is Laser Vein Treatment?

Can tanned skin be treated?
Tanned skin can be treated safely, but always inform us if you have been tanning or exposed to the sun within the last three weeks and we will adjust your treatment regime accordingly to give you the safest, most effective experience.

How long does the treatment take?
A treatment normally takes between 10 and 30 minutes, although time varies depending upon the area being treated.

How quickly will I see results?
Laser Vein Treatment breaks up the unwanted veins and dissolves them over the course of several weeks. The most common side effect is bruising around the treated area. This will resolve within days of the treatment.

Does it hurt?
Most people describe laser vein treatment as feeling like the snap of a rubber band against the skin. You may be given a topical anesthetic cream to numb the area. If desired, a cool compress may be applied after treatment.
